Edinburgh-based AI consultancy Tomoro is continuing its global expansion with new Sydney, Melbourne and Singapore offices, building on major growth in its native Scotland.

The firm previously announced a £4m investment in creating 20 jobs in Edinburgh, which are now all filled. They confirmed this further global expansion will continue to drive growth in their Scottish base, with an announcement expected soon of at least doubling the size of the Scottish team.

Founded in 2023 in Edinburgh and London, Tomoro already delivers generative AI and autonomous agent solutions for organisations including Fidelity International, Supercell and Virgin Atlantic.

“We’re all about working on the most ambitious AI projects in the world and hiring the top AI talent. Our Scottish base has been instrumental to that, providing us with an unbelievable base of talent and production solutions to expand across Asia Pacific,” said Ed Broussard, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Tomoro.

New Offices in Australia and Singapore

After launching their APAC presence in Singapore in June, Tomoro have announced the creation of two new Australian hubs. Blending global experience with local expertise, the firm aims to speed up AI integration, address Australia’s widening skills shortage, and unlock productivity gains of up to 40% within the next four years.

Former Accenture AI Industry Lead, Dan Edgar, will head up the firm’s Australian operations. “We’re excited to bring the incredible work Tomoro has done from it’s UK base to Australia. Our mission is to embed AI deeply into how organisations operate, and Australia is a natural next step for us as we continue our global expansion to help more businesses benefit from AI,” he said.

Tomoro also welcomed a senior delegation of UK and Singapore officials to their new Singapore office last week including Cabinet Secretary Sir Chris Wormald KCB and Nik Mehta OBE, British High Commissioner to Singapore joining the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside representatives from the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).

“Tomoro’s expansion into Singapore exemplifies how businesses from across the UK are leading the technological revolution, driving innovation and growth.

“Apart from building on the already strong partnership between our two forward-looking nations, this move demonstrates how UK AI expertise can scale through Singapore’s strategic regional position and deliver opportunity for businesses and communities on both sides of our vital partnership.” said Nik Mehta OBE, British High Commissioner to Singapore.
