Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting; The Riches) has started her run in hit West End play Every Brilliant Thing.
Minnie Driver is now performing in Every Brilliant Thing at @SohoPlace Theatre in London until 8 November 2025.
Written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe, and directed by Jeremy Herrin and Duncan Macmillan, this one-person show has already featured Lenny Henry (August in England), Jonny Donahoe (co-creator and original performer of Every Brilliant Thing), Ambika Mod (One Day), and Sue Perkins (The Great British Bake Off).

In the show, a child attempts to ease their mother’s depression by creating a list of all the best things in the world. Through adulthood, as the list grows, they learn the deep significance it has on their own life. Every Brilliant Thing is a comedy about the lengths we will go for those we love.
The creative team also includes design by Vicki Mortimer, lighting design by Jack Knowles, sound design by Tom Gibbons and casting by Jessica Ronane CDG. The show is produced by Second Half Productions, Gavin Kalin Productions, Rodeo/Tilted, and Winkler & Smalberg, in association with Nica Burns and Paines Plough.
Minnie Driver’s film credits include Circle of Friends, Good Will Hunting, The Assessment, Uproar, and Millers in Marriage; and TV credits include The Serpent Queen, Speechless, The Riches, Will & Grace, Chevalier, Rosaline, Amazon’s Modern Love, and Cinderella. Her forthcoming projects include Netflix series Run Away and the fifth season of Emily in Paris.
