The necklace is certainly a romantic one. With two overlapping hearts, symbolic of unity and devotion. Queen Camilla has also worn the pendant to the Garden Museum in 2023, when she officially opened the 2023 British Flowers Week Exhibition.

The Queen was in high spirits at Clarence House for Tuesday’s celebrations, improvising an off-the-cuff speech about how meaningful books were for her. ‘I wouldn’t be standing here now if I hadn’t been read to as a child. We were read to by my father every night, and it just shows how important it is,’ the Queen told the gathered crowd, before joking, ‘It’s lodged in my very small brain forevermore.’

Camilla went on to espouse the importance of reading for the next generation, especially given the prevalence of modern technology. ‘Especially in this day of phones, a lot of children aren’t reading as much as they should be,’ the Queen continued. ‘The statistics show it is even more important now to start them at an early age and get them reading all the way through their lives.’
