Autumn is the best time of year. There are just so many wonderful activities to partake in — watching scary movies, drinking pumpkin spice lattes, going to pumpkin patches, and planning your kids’ Halloween costumes. It’s the best! And Kate Middleton seems to think so too. She just shared one of the “very messy” fall activities she had a blast doing with her kids, and it sounds perfect.
At a surprise visit to Northern Ireland on Tuesday, Princess Kate and her husband Prince William went to an apple farm that makes cider, apple juice, and apple cider vinegar. Personally, warm apple cider is one of my favorite drinks and having one made from apples fresh-off-the-vine sounds delightful! When couple was shown the farm’s apple pressing machine, Middleton revealed that she made her own apple cider with their kids Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7.

“We tried this at home with a hand press,” Middleton said, per Hello! “It was quite good fun with the children.”
“It was very messy,” she added.
We can just picture Kate and the kids in the kitchen pressing apples to squeeze the juice out of them. With three kids helping out, we hope they were wearing aprons because we can only imagine the mess!
Another fun fall activity the royals recently participated in? Going to the set of a new Harry Potter series, which was filming at Windsor Great Park. A source told Daily Mail that Middleton and the kids went to see the set, designed to look like Hogsmeade Station, for a behind-the-scenes viewing of scenes being recorded.
“’It was so special, Kate and the children met the young actors and the director on the set. There was only one night of filming there so it really was a magical ticket,” an insider told the outlet.
“And as for Louis, he got the chance to ride on the train with the driver,” the source continued. “He seemed to absolutely love it. It’s the dream for most children to step aboard the Hogwarts Express.”
It certainly sounds like these kids are having a magical fall season!
