If you’re a fan of Stranger Things, you’re probably re-watching the hit Netflix series from the very first episode to get your mind back into all things Hawkins. Ahead of series 5, which is set to drop soon, one high street chain has unveiled a themed cafe – and there are two in Scotland.

To celebrate the upcoming release of what is being dubbed as the final season of the hit TV show, Primark has unveiled the cafe as its latest collaboration with the streaming service. Not just that – an 80-piece collection lands in stores globally from October 20 and includes exclusive artwork tees, iconic fashion pieces and in-show-inspired styles.

In fact, there’s even a special range of bold graphic tees designed by Kyle Lambert available to buy. Lambert is the artist behind the official Stranger Things season posters.

The Stranger Things cafe plan will take place in select Primark cafés in the UK where shoppers can tuck into a nostalgic American-inspired menu. You can expect loaded hot dogs, burgers, classic pizza slices and crispy tater tots paired with a selection of hot and cold drinks.

Fans can also enjoy retro sundaes and shakes or try the ‘Hawkins Highfloat’, a cherry soda topped with vanilla ice cream. Rooted in ‘80s nostalgia, the show boosted Kate Bush’s track “Running Up That Hill” back into the charts – and Primark says fans can expect to be transported back in time too as the cafes have been given a full Hawkins-style revamp.

This makes it the perfect setting for that Instagram-worthy pic and for getting into the mood to sit down for a new emotional and thrilling series. The launch builds on Primark’s long-standing partnership with Netflix, which first began in 2020 and has delivered multiple sell-out collections for fans.
