Meghan Markle attended a star-studded dinner in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Oct. 15 – and she provided wine from her lifestyle brand As ever.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, attended the “A Seat At The Table” dinner in L.A., hosted by entrepreneur Emma Grede. The dinner was held at designer Kelly Wearstler’s home, with a meal prepared by plant-based chef Camilla Marcus. The event was planned by Stephanie Horton, and sponsored by Shop by Google.

Grede, 43, shared a series of photos from the event on Thursday, Oct. 16. In the photos, Meghan wears a chic two-piece tan suit paired with a white shirt, gold chain necklace by Aurate, and her hair slicked back. She completed the look with a pair of pointed-toe black Balenciaga heels.

The Duchess of Sussex previously appeared on Grede’s Aspire with Emma Grede podcast in June. In the episode, Meghan reflected on the candid Instagram video of her dancing in the hospital delivery room with husband Prince Harry, 40, which she posted on June 4 to celebrate their daughter Princess Lilibet’s 4th birthday.

Meghan told Grede — founding partner and chief product officer of SKIMS and CEO and co-founder of Good American — that she was excited to share more of her true self online, echoing Grede’s belief that authenticity is the key to success.

“You have to be authentic,” Meghan, who launched her lifestyle brand As ever, earlier this year, said, before asking with a laugh, “Did you see my ‘Baby Momma’ dance?”

Grede, who was born and raised in London and lives in L.A. with her husband, Swedish entrepreneur Jens Grede, and their four children, said she had: “We maybe watched it like 20 times yesterday, and I was like, is that, is that her? Is that Prince Harry there with the fingers…I was like, okay…good on Harry, let’s go. But that’s you, right? Like that’s you in a way that we kind of haven’t been able to see you before.”

The candlelit table spread featured tall black candelabras and intricate cherry blossom floral arrangements. Among the starry guests were Rachel Zoe, former Netflix CMO Bozoma Saint John, Russian tennis pro Maria Sharapova, author and former US Ambassador to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas Nicole Avant, Phlur creative director and influencer Chriselle Lim, makeup artist and beauty founder Danessa Myricks, and more.

“In a city built on big dreams and even bigger ambition, one truth remains, success is never built alone,” Grede began in the caption of her Instagram post. “For too long, we’ve watched how men in business have mastered this: making deals over dinner, sharing opportunities over a game, and opening doors for one another in rooms we can’t always see.”

Grede continued, “This dinner series is about making that energy ours. About women coming together to share openly, trade resources, and help each other get shit done. Because when women choose to collaborate, to champion each other, and to speak honestly about the highs and the hard parts, we don’t just change our own stories. We change what’s possible for every woman who follows.”

“Here’s to more seats, more voices, and more women leading, building, and owning their power,” she added.
