The Apple Watch has redefined smartwatches, offering Apple users an extension of their iPhone on the wrist. Originally launched in 2015, Apple has religiously updated its wearable with a new model (or two) every year. It’s a premium device with a high price, which is why discounts on the Apple Watch are popular.
Wowcher is offering the Apple Watch Series 7 from £155, a great saving over the £369 asking price for the 41mm GPS version at launch.
The retailer is offering a full range of colours, both 41mm and 45mm sizes, as well as different grades, as this is a refurbished item. The Apple Watch Series 7 launched in 2021, so this discount is on a model that’s been reconditioned and comes with a 12-month warranty.

If you don’t want to buy through Wowcher, shoppers can get the Apple Watch Series 7 for less than £150 on Amazon (refurbished) in a range of colours and sizes, inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon suppliers.
The Apple Watch Series 7 made a big move to maximise the visible display, leading to a nicer experience than older devices. The design is the same as previous models, however, all the way back to Apple Watch 4, so it’s 10.7mm thick, rather than the thinner 9.7mm design that came in with Apple Watch Series 10.

The Watch Series 7 is compatible with current Watch straps, so there are loads of options to switch out the colour or customise the design to suit your style.
The Watch Series 7 is equipped with an always-on OLED display, a heart rate sensor with blood oxygen monitoring and high and low heart rate notifications, as well as the ECG app.
It will track sleep, giving a sleep score, while also tracking vitals through the night. It also offers cycle tracking for women, and is water resistant to 50m, so it can be used for swim tracking.
There’s full activity and steps tracking, the option to close those Rings and make sure the wearer is staying active through the day. Powered by the S7 chip, it also supports Siri.
The battery isn’t great, offering 18 hours of wear, so many users will have to charge the Watch daily. The downside of buying refurbished is that the battery life is likely to be reduced, so it probably won’t quite last the full 18 hours any more.
Apple Watch Series 7 comes in a range of colours.
The Apple Watch Series 7 was first launched in 2021 and is currently running WatchOS 26, which is the latest Watch software. It’s expected to support WatchOS 27, which is set to be released in 2026. After that, updates are unlikely, so that’s something that shoppers should consider before buying an older device.
The Apple Watch Series 7 will work with an iPhone running iOS 15 or newer, so that will be all iPhone models back to iPhone 6s or newer.
Those looking for an affordable smartwatch to use with the iPhone might want to consider the Amazfit Bip 6, which offers a similar design to the Apple Watch, with an OLED display, full fitness and sleep tracking, up to 14 days of battery life, GPS and waterproofing for £69.99 on Amazon.
