A man left other diners gobsmacked after he managed to finish a mega breakfast in a Droylsden cafe. In Peggies Kitchen, you can take on a breakfast challenge that would make even the most dedicated foodies cringe; however, TikToker @JjDaLion was born ready to attempt it. JJ shared that after the video was taken, “six eggs were added onto the tray,” and it “made matters worse”.
He was told by a member of staff that 20 people had taken on the challenge so far, and “everyone failed,” which was sure to make him extremely nervous before his first attempt.
The plate included 10 sausages, many rashers of bacon, mushrooms, tomatos, beans, black pudding, eight hashbrowns, and 16 pieces of fried bread and toast. “Taking on an undefeated breakfast challenge,” he wrote over the top of the video.
“Who has come close? Has anyone come close?” JJ asked, wondering whether he stood a chance to eat the mountain of breakfast food.

The staff member shared with him that a couple of people have come close, but said: “There’s no prizes for second place is there”?
This potentially spurred JJ on as he acknowledged, “no, there’s not”, and then asked how long he had to polish everything off.
He was told that he’d have 30 minutes to get the lot down him, and he asked: “Is that it?!”
It was confirmed that he’d have just 30 minutes to eat everything, but not only that, he also had to wash it all down with a pot of tea… wow.
“Oh my goodness,” JJ said in disbelief, but he was then told that he’d be given £100 if he was able to finish it all.
JJ joked that it was “good motivation” for him to take on the challenge. The staff member also joked that if he managed to finish it, he could have “any dessert for free”.
In a separate video, JJ could be seen impressively completing the whole challenge in 13 minutes and 56 seconds, which is seriously impressive, as it’s far less than the originally allocated time.
In that time, he also drank the tea, which he was unsure about at first – but he guzzled it down.
A piece of cake was then placed in front of him as a gift, and he ate the whole thing as well. Seriously impressive.
Staff at Peggies joked that they’d be able to come up with a new challenge now that one had finally been completed by somebody.
In the comments, someone wrote: “How though?! That’s an insane challenge, well done”.
“Your poor stomach, hell no,” another penned.
Some marvelled at the fact that he managed to eat the whole plate of breakfast, but still ate the cake. “There’s always room for dessert,” JJ joked.
