Leeds United have some injury concerns ahead of the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley, with Fabrizio Romano confirming one player is definitely out.

Leeds United are nursing a few issues already following Daniel Farke’s injury round-up for Burnley. The forward areas have been particularly decimated by issues in the early parts of the season.

Leeds’ injury issues are mounting and for players who have hit the ground running this season as well. Noah Okafor is one of the doubts for the weekend’s game after his arrival from AC Milan this summer.

Okafor’s goal against Wolves helped break Leeds records, joint with Anton Stach and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. On top of that, he is building rhythm, with Okafor feeling bullish about Leeds and their chances of late.

His goals have been important, with Okafor’s against Spurs almost ruled out. But that has not been the most impressive aspect of his game, with Okafor’s dribbling breaking Premier League records.

It’s why news that he was a doubt for Saturday has been frustrating. Even more frustrating is the confirmation that he is out and how long the issue will keep him sidelined for.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed the 25-year-old will be out for between seven and 10 days. It’s even more of a blow given the way he plays and commits opposition players.

In fact, Okafor has been one of European football’s most impressive dribblers so far this season. Not only that, but Okafor is rubbing shoulders with Jack Grealish for his dynamic and explosive ability when carrying the ball.

It’s fair to say Calvert-Lewin and Okafor have a partnership forming and an understanding building as two of the most crucial components of Leeds’ front three. Losing that means Farke will have to rethink.
