Stuart Machin: Belfast event hears M&S chief criticise ‘overbearing box-ticking’ post-Brexit checks

M&S chief executive Stuart Machin has said six of its 19 lorries entering NI are stopped every day for post-Brexit checks

The boss of M&S has called for a swift deal to cut out “overbearing box-ticking” post-Brexit checks on products coming into NI from Great Britain.

Under the NI Protocol and Windsor Framework, there are checks on animal and agricultural products being moved into NI from GB.
