Queen Camilla is plotting to keep Prince Harry and Meghan Markle away from her husband, a source tells the Examiner.
“Camilla thinks it’s lunacy to let them across the royal threshold,” the source says of the queen, 78, adding that she’s made her opinion clear to King Charles III, 76.
When “he went ahead” with having a 54-minute meeting with his younger son in September “against her better judgment,” adds the source, “it caused a lot of heated discussion.”

But as Examiner has reported, Charles is keen to reconcile fully with his son.
“Camilla knows better than to argue with the king at this point,” continues the source, but now that Harry, 41, is planning to return with Meghan, 44, and his kids, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, she’s “strategizing with courtiers about how to keep them at arm’s length.”
Charles’ wife of 20 years not only wants to ensure the Sussexes “don’t get the red carpet treatment” in the U.K., but to clarify to the public that the spare heir and the As Ever founder won’t be welcomed back as working royals.
The senior royal is planning to instruct palace aides to “brief everyone they can — including the press of course — that it’s a token olive branch and nothing more,” says the source.
