The Wear OS watch to get if you’re not looking to spend a lot
The Galaxy Watch FE is an impressive piece of hardware. Samsung really hit it out of the park with this one, delivering a smartwatch that’s affordable while also being feature-packed. You get a compact and sleek design, along with a vibrant AMOLED screen. While this model comes in black, you can easily swap out the watch bands to customize the look.
Plus, you get plenty of power under the hood thanks to Samsung’s Exynos processor that’s paired with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It also has a wealth of sensors that can track your heart rate, physical activities, sleep, and even stress levels. The watch can even guide you to a better place in your physical journey if that’s what you’re looking for.
While the watch has been out for a bit, it’s still expected to get the latest update from Samsung. But after that, the updates will stop, which is the one big caveat with this device. That doesn’t mean it won’t function after the update, it just means that this year is when the last major update will arrive on the watch.
For the most part, we don’t think it’s that big of a deal considering the price. Of course, you can always go with something newer like Galaxy Watch 6 or Galaxy Watch 7, but you’ll be paying a bit more. The choice is always up to you, but if you want a great watch for cheap, this is the one to get.
