Mohamed Salah has had a slow start to the new season by his own sky-high standards, with the Egypt international not having as much impact on the Liverpool team.
The devastating right winger has only scored two Premier League goals this season, while also providing two assists for Slot’s team.
However, if Salah could pick an opponent to play against to get back among the goals, there’s a high chance he would pick United.
Salah has scored an incredible 16 goals in 17 games against the Old Trafford side over the years, with Liverpool fans surely hoping he can keep this record going on Sunday.
United’s system provides opportunity for Salah
United manager Ruben Amorim has refused to change his 3-4-3 system, even in away games against superior opposition.
Salah will most likely come up against Patrick Dorgu this weekend, with the young Danish defender most regularly playing at left wing-back for the Red Devils.

Liverpool will look to exploit space behind the United wing-backs and Salah is the perfect player to expose the defensive frailties of Amorim’s side.
For Liverpool to get back to their best and mount a serious Premier League title defence they need an improved Salah, who will be licking his lips at the prospect of an open United side this weekend.
