The Grand Hotel, Manchester, located on Market Street in Stoneclough first opened its doors for a taster last month.

But now the events space, which replaced the former Hare and Hounds pub, will be opening officially with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Owner Sam Tuli, said: “I’m very excited! The local community is very happy and excited about the new use of the building.

“People have been so happy and keep asking ‘when are you opening again?'”

From 4pm on Saturday (October 18), the building will be hosting local traders selling crafts, jewellery, food and more.

Entry is free and the event will last until 8pm.

Sam said: “We have offered our stalls for free just to support local businesses and so everyone can come in and see the place.”

The new space will also have a working bar – with Carlsberg, Poretti, Estrella, Somersby Apple Cider and Guinness on draft.

Sam said: “Every month we’ll be hosting two events at least – right now we just want to publicise our business and show what we have to offer.”

He added that there are four ensuite rooms in the upstairs of the building that they plan to start renting out “once this project is finished”.
