A man was violently attacked on a busy road in Cardiff. Police believe the assault may have been linked to a road rage incident.
A 35-year-old man was punched to the floor after crossing the road outside the Wessex Garage in Grangetown at around 11am on Tuesday, September 23. The alleged victim is believed to have sought help from the car garage and from passers-by.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: “We are investigating an assault on Penarth Road in Grangetown.
“A 35-year-old man was punched to the floor after crossing the road outside the Wessex Garage at around 11am on Tuesday, September 23.
“The assault may have been linked to an earlier road rage incident.
“The victim sought help from a nearby car garage and a female, who was possibly wearing a Royal Mail uniform, tried to intervene during the assault.
“Witnesses, including this unknown woman, are urged to come forward.
“The male suspect is described as of mixed race with a Welsh accent. He was with a female described as short with dyed red or orange hair in a small ponytail.
“The victim received hospital treatment for a head injury. Inquiries are ongoing and CCTV is being checked.”
