Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic made an allegation in his post-match press conference

Birmingham City have released a statement to refute allegations made by Hull City boss Sergej Jakirović that he was told to ‘Go back to Croatia’ by a member of the club’s security staff.
Speaking in his press conference after his Hull side defeated Blues 3-2, Jakirović alleged that a security officer made the remark to him after an altercation with Blues manager Chris Davies.
Jakirović claims Davies said ‘F*** you’ to him, which the Blues boss denies, before a further altercation with a member of security.
Blues have since responded to Jakirović’s allegations in a strongly-worded club statement.
The club said: “Birmingham City are aware of a serious allegation made by Hull City head coach Sergej Jakirović towards a member of the security team at St. Andrew’s @ Knighthead Park.
“Having conducted an internal investigation, the club refute, in the strongest possible terms, Mr Jakirović’s claims. In addition, we are disappointed that the allegation was made in a public press conference. We will be making no further comment at this time.”
