Katherine Ryan has welcomed her fourth child with husband Bobby Koostra taking to social media to announce the good news. The pair are already proud parents to their three kids, Violet, 15, Fred, four, and two-years-old daughter Fenna.
The 41-year-old comedian announced her pregnancy news on her podcast back in June and has kept fans in the loop with occasional updates throughout her journey. Katherine attempted to keep her baby news a secret for as long as possible but her teenage daughter slipped up in a social media post where she revealed a huge hint.
Bobby took to social media this afternoon to announce the arrival of their daughter and her very unique name. In a post, he wrote: “Holland Juliette Kootstra has arrived. The ‘Patrick Mahomes’ of childbirth pulled out another MVP performance! Amazing to witness the greatness of @kathbum #blessed.”
Sharing the first snap of their baby girl, little Holland was seen wearing a custom-knit babygro with her name on it. While another image showed proud dad Bobby carrying his newborn daughter out of the hospital to take her home.

Other touching photos showed Holland being doted on by her older siblings, big sister Violet, sister Fenna and brother Fred, after she arrived back at the family home.
After giving birth, Bobby revealed that mum-of-four Katherine sipped on Dom Pérignon champagne from the comfort of her hospital room. A bottle of the vintage bubbles retails from around £189.
Elsewhere, Katherine tucked into delicious food, including sushi from celebrity hotspot Nobu restaurant in the comfort of her swanky hospital suite.
The TV star first hinted she expecting her fourth child while making an appearance on Violet’s TikTok page as the teen was sharing reviews.
Just days later, she stepped out on the red carpet showcasing her blossoming baby bump.

The couple chose to wait to find out the gender of their baby with them divided on whether they were having a boy or a girl.
In July, Katherine filmed herself in a mirror at home and said: “This has got to be a boy.”
Katherine and Bobby appeared on her Telling Everybody Everything podcast to discuss their baby.
She said: “The boys are yours and the girls, I feel like, are mine.” Bobby added: “I think the best thing for the family would be a girl.”
Katherine joked that the pregnancy “explained the 20lb weight gain”, with Bobby confessing she had kept her pregnancy relatively hushed up.
Earlier this year, Katherine revealed her hopes for a fourth child whilst acknowledging that time might not be on her side. The former Celebrity Gogglebox star attended a fertility clinic alongside husband Bobby to explore their chances of conceiving again.
The journey hasn’t been straightforward for the pair, who have welcomed two children, endured three pregnancy losses, and navigated Bobby’s relocation from Canada to the UK.

Katherine and Bobby initially dated when she was just 15, before reigniting their relationship in 2018 during her return to Canada for the BBC programme Who Do You Think You Are?
Discussing their fertility journey with OK Magazine, she revealed: “We’ve always gotten pregnant with the babies quite quickly. I’ve been pregnant five times in five years, but that also means I’ve had three miscarriages in five years and the likelihood of that increases as you get older.
“You have to find a balance between what you can personally stand and risks you’re willing to take.”
Katherine has been clear that surrogacy isn’t an option she’d consider.
She explained: “It’s controversial to say but I wouldn’t want that labour – both literal and also the workload – to fall on another woman.

“I think surrogacy is wonderful. It’s beautiful for people who are really eager to offer it and for couples who need it but for me, I think it would be exploitative.”
The announcement of her pregnancy came just months after Katherine had surgery following a skin cancer diagnosis.
She first noticed the signs when she saw a mole changing.
She was previously diagnosed with stage two melanoma at the age of 21. Despite doctors’ assurances that her mole wasn’t cancerous, she insisted on having it tested.
