The Gordon family were missing a member during Friday’s episode

The new series of Gogglebox recently welcomed the Gordon’s as new recruits in a shake-up to the popular Channel 4 reality show.
As fans will know, the show captures households from across the country as they offer their candid commentary on the week’s television, and welcomed five fresh sets of tele critics from various regions.
In the latest series, which kicked off in September, the Gordon family, from Surrey, joined the cast and includes Andre, 49, and Sarah, 47, and their 25 year old daughter Chee.
The family are normally a trio but Chee ditched filming to seek warmer climates elsewhere. On Friday (October 17), Andre and Sarah explained their daughters absence from the episode before joking about the price of heating bills.

Andre explained: “Just us yeah. Chee is enjoying herself right now in the sun”, as Sarah quickly interjected to share some humour: “Shh, quiet there is no Chee!”
He added: “That’s so rude”, before explaining: “But I’m always happy that she ain’t here because she ain’t turning up the heating. That’s another thing.”
“Andre, the house is too cold though. I can’t blame Chee for doing that”, Sarah confirmed as she stuck up for Chee.
“Ain’t nobody touching that thermostat, and that’s why I locked it”, Andre joked.

Sarah quipped: “So that’s why we got to put on our jumpers, our socks, our thermal underwear, everything. Just to walk around the house.” Andre then pointed to blanket and implied Sarah could use it to keep herself warm.
“Put this on, electric blanket too”, Andre joked as Sarah quickly interrupted: “You’re just stingy. It’s coming up to Christmas don’t be a scrooge.”
A total of five new sets of cast members joined the cast of Gogglebox last, including the Gordon family.
Friends Jake and Calum from Glasgow are also new to the show along with married couple Andrew and Alfie from the Cotswolds.

Mother and daughter-in-law Sara and Lara from Yorkshire are also offering their take on this week’s television, as are sisters Rosie and Susie from Edinburgh.
Mike Cotton, creative director of producers Studio Lambert, said it was “a delight to welcome some new households to the Gogglebox family”.
He added: “Along with our much loved returning cast, we can’t wait to join them in their living rooms and hear their candid thoughts on this week’s most talked about TV.”
Gogglebox currently airs every Friday at 9pm on Channel 4
