Brad Kella has announced his return to Liverpool for an intimate gig in the city. Brad Kella, originally from Bootle, won Channel 4’s The Piano in 2024 and has since played gigs at esteemed venues across the country including the Liverpool Philharmonic and The Royal Albert Hall in London.
Following on from a sold out UK tour this year, Brad is returning to his home city for an intimate Christmas gig at the Liverpool Tung Auditorium and he has shared his excitement with fans online.
In an Instagram post announcing the gig Brad said: “Liverpool I’M BACK HOME, on the 6th December I will be playing back in my home town (it’s been a while) and I genuinely cannot wait!!!!
“Tickets will go fast so please grab yours while you can as it’s for one night and one night only.
“Here’s to making more memories together Liverpool, without my home city I would never be where I am today!”

The stand-alone gig will take place on December 6 at 7:30pm.
It will be held at the The Tung Auditorium, 60 Oxford St, Liverpool L7 3NY.

Things began to change for Brad when his performance on one of the Tickle the Ivories pianos in Liverpool ONE caught the attention of Channel 4 producers, leading to his life-changing participation in The Piano.
In July, Brad played on one of the public pianos to mark the start of the Tickle the Ivories Piano Festival, which is returning for its 15th anniversary in 2025. Speaking to the ECHO at the time, he said it felt like a “full circle moment”.
Brad now lives in Fazakerley.
