FERGUS PRINGLE has named his Scotland Under-19s team – sprinkled with some Under-20s players needing game-time ahead of the World Rugby U20 Championship in Italy at the end of June – for a friendly against England at Percy Park RFC in North Shields tomorrow [Saturday] afternoon.

Stand-off Ross Wolfenden continues as co-captain following the defeat to Italy Under-19 at the Greenyards in early April, with hooker Joe Roberts taking over from prop Ben White as the other co-captain.

“These U19 fixtures are about building experience for our best young players and benchmarking ourselves against international opposition,” said head coach Pringle.
