Acclaimed London show Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular has hit a new milestone, celebrating its first anniversary.
The circus musical celebrated its birthday in style yesterday, 18 October 2025, with a celebrity gala that featured the new cast of the show.
A host of well-known names attended the show at the 700-seater Big Top at the Empress Museum in London, including Jessie Ware, Alex Jones, Kate Garraway, Anna Williamson, and Anna Whitehouse (‘Mother Pukka’).
The blockbuster show Come Alive! at the Empress Museum is inspired by the much-loved movie The Greatest Showman, and brings together a Big Top circus spectacular with all of the Benj Pasek and Justin Paul songs from the movie including ‘This Is Me’, ‘Rewrite the Stars’, ‘A Million Dreams’, ‘Tightrope’ and ‘The Greatest Show’.

Created by Simon Hammerstein, last month Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular announced an extension in London, and is now booking until 27 September 2026.
The hit show has also welcomed a new cast last month, with Anoushka Tandon-Sangar now making her professional debut in the lead role of Max, joining West End star Simon Bailey (Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Heathers, Jersey Boys) as the Showman.
Singers in the show are Whitney Martins (Starlight Express), Giovanni Spanó (Cinderella, Guys & Dolls), Maia Hawkins, Greg Oliver (The David Bowie Show) and Deshawn Gordon.
The Ringmaster is played by Kai Hou (Cirque du Soleil, Britain’s Got Talent). New acts joining Come Alive! include circus professionals Tara Talland and Ebony Gumbs; Sam Barnes; and Cirque du Soleil’s Nathan Briscoe; alongside Dean Murrell, Jimmy Wong, Bella Diosa, Eric McGill, Josephine Urry, Jackie Le, Antino Pansa, Tybald Griesbacher, Roman Karpovich, Sam Nash, and Keiron The Mighty. Shona Morgan is also returning to the cast.
Dancers in the show include Rachel Gardiner, Ethan Brenchley, Elliott Brady, Emma-Louise Stansall, Maisie Axton, Genie Gledhill, Mia Jayne, Ebby Sama and Ross Wilkins.
Come Alive! is directed by Simon Hammerstein, with music producer Matthew Brind (Paddington The Musical, Just For One Day). The show’s choreographers are Jerry Reeve and Lukas McFarlane, lighting design is by Adam Bassett for Woodroffe Bassett Design, set design by Ruby Law (Billie Eilish), costume design by Susan Kulkarni, art direction by Mika Handley, and casting by Pearson Casting.
In celebration of the Halloween season, the Empress Museum in Earl’s Court is also running Halloween-themed shows from 22 to 31 October, and two special performances on 31 October for Halloween, featuring trick or treats, costume competitions, special guest performers and more.
