It’s not just Santa Claus that’ll be coming to town this Christmas, folks. The Polar Express will also be chugging into the capital, ready for another season of serving up festive cheer by the carriage-load. Yes, that’s right: Londoners will soon be able to hop aboard the much-loved locomotive and be fully immersed in the magical Yuletide tale.
The Polar Express Experience
Whether you’re a seasoned passenger or you’ve managed to get your hands on a golden ticket for the very first time; a trip on the Polar Express is sure to make even the most magical of festive dreams come true. The journey begins at Euston station, where visitors can watch the train will pull into the platform. They’ll then be invited to climb aboard and embark on a one-hour journey to the ‘North Pole’.

Passengers can expect to be greeted by a conductor, who’ll be travelling through the train, punching tickets. And there will (of course) be some dazzling dancing chefs on hand to serve up some delicious hot chocolate. This is the Polar Express, after all. The beloved story by Chris Van Allsburg will be read aloud during the journey, with beautiful illustrations displayed alongside it for passengers to feast their eyes on.
A cast of vibrant characters will also provide a whole host of interactive entertainment throughout the experience, bringing some of the most memorable moments of the movie to life. And each passenger will be gifted their first gift of the season, a silver sleigh bell to take home with them.
So, grab your comfiest pyjamas and your shiniest golden ticket, because its almost time to climb aboard.
