With Christmas just 64 days away, Glasgow shoppers might begin their shopping. One place they might find themselves heading to is Buchanan Galleries.

The busy centre is a hotspot for shopping and dining, with over 90 big-name brands across the three floor building, such as Next, Phase Eight, Starbucks, Boots, John Lewis and Accessorize to name a few.

And there’s about to be even more, as a further seven retailers are set to open up ahead of the mad December dash, offering Christmas shoppers even more choice across fashion, food and accessories.

There’s multiple Scots-led brands that includes Heritage Accessories that has returned to its store next to Phase Eight, offering a range of Scottish-made winter warmers for the chilly season.

Offering everything from hats, scarves, gloves, a luxurious Harris Tweed collection and also a selection of pet accessories, it offers a chance to bag some thoughtful, well-made gifts for someone special.

There’s also Bo Peep, led by Scottish businessman William Boswell, which has also opened up next to Boots, with the store specialising in ladies’ knitwear, alongside dresses, trousers and knitwear.

Hunky Dory, a Glasgow-based has also returned on the ground floor outside Lovisa, stocking its hand-designed and locally screen-printed garments that includes rock ‘n’ roll-inspired T-shirts, jackets, and canvas bags.

An upcoming retailer will be Och! Vegan, a soaps and skincare brand that was founded in Glasgow will also be making its return to Buchanan Galleries on November 13.

Set to be located next to John Lewis, the Scots cosmetics brand was founded by partners Magdalena Och and Remi, with a focus on its signature range of vegan, natural, and zero-waste soaps, lip balms, deodorants, and shampoos.

Meanwhile, Scottish sustainable fashion brand Unfolded will be one of the centre’s seasonal pop-ups this year, with shoppers able to find the stall outside John Lewis on the ground floor from November 8-9.

The centre is also set to become home to Scottish sprits brand Loose Spirits for the first ever time from November 4, with the kiosk set to be located opposite Boots on the ground floor until Christmas Eve, December 24.

Last, but certainly not least, Glasgow shoppers will be able to find Christmas gifting favourite the Calendar Club that has returned next to H. Samuel and Smiggle, with a selection of licensed 2026 stationary and merchandise from pop culture favourites.

News of Buchanan Galleries’ new and returning arrivals comes amidst an exciting time for Scotland’s high street, with new openings including the “largest ever” River Island in Scotland that recently relocated in Glasgow’s Fort to a large 13,616 sqft store.

Meanwhile, award-winning dessert brand Snowflake Gelato opened its first Scottish kiosk in the Braehead Shopping Centre last week, while Silverburn has introduced multiple retailers including luxury perfumer Jo Malone London.
