Elemental Concept has announced the launch of its new German entity as part of its strategy to expand in the European market.
The new operation will be led by Georg Brunner, a former executive at Allianz with over three decades of experience in digital transformation and management. Brunner will serve as Managing Director for Germany and the European Union, with responsibilities including establishing local operations, building a regional team, and fostering partnerships to support clients across Europe.
The establishment of a German base is intended to provide European clients with local, hands-on support. According to the company, this move forms a strategic part of its global growth plan.
German market focus
Elemental Concept is launching its German venture at a time of significant investment and momentum within the European technology sector, particularly in areas such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and cloud adoption. The consultancy sees Germany as a critical market within this landscape.
“Germany is a strategic priority for us,” said Bimal Shah, CEO of Elemental Concept. “It is Europe’s largest ICT market, projected to generate EUR 233 billion in 2025*, and continues to grow across key areas such as AI, cybersecurity, cloud adoption, and healthcare digitalisation.”
Shah further highlighted the importance of experience and market knowledge for their expansion.
“We’re thrilled to have Georg on board. With his experience leading international transformation programmes and his deep understanding of the German market, he’s the perfect person to drive this next chapter alongside us.”
Leadership and local operations
Brunner brings extensive experience from the insurance, financial services, IT operations, and business consulting sectors, having worked in senior management, chief executive, and board advisory roles. In his statement, he underscored the opportunities and demands facing the market and Elemental Concept’s commitment to addressing them locally.
“This is the perfect moment to enter the German market,” said Georg Brunner, Managing Director, Germany and EU. “Organisations face urgent challenges around digitisation, security, and healthcare transformation. My goal is to build a trusted local team with the expertise to deliver real performance and value for clients, and I’m excited to be doing that with Elemental Concept, a business built on solving real problems through technology and challenging conventional thinking when needed. These values are exactly what German enterprises need in a true technology partner who will help them find success.”
Recent growth and acquisitions
The announcement of the German entity follows Elemental Concept’s acquisition of Purple Shirt, a New Zealand-based user experience design consultancy with 20 team members. The company also recently made senior leadership appointments in the Asia-Pacific region, reflecting its focus on scaling international capability.
The consultancy, headquartered in the United Kingdom, already operates in India, Singapore, Myanmar, and New Zealand, with the new German office extending its geographical reach further into Europe.
Future plans in Europe
Elemental Concept has stated that it intends to invest in local partnerships and talent development as its German operation gets underway. The company also plans to deliver bespoke technology solutions to meet the specific needs of European clients, according to statements in the release.
