ScreenRant has published a behind-the-scenes segment for Predator: Badlands, which reveals a few new scenes. Director Dan Trachtenberg says that after 2022’s Prey, he wanted to do something new with the franchise, “which is taking this classic movie monster and force him through a gauntlet to truly test him and see what he’s made of.”

Creature designer Alec Gillis says, “Dan Trachtenberg has a long-range vision for the franchise,” and Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi says that Trachtenberg is a massive Predator fan and is passionate about the story and the universe. Trachtenberg says he’s excited for audiences to see the film and root for a character they’ve never been able to root for before.

There are a few new shots in there that we’ve not seen before. Notably, when Dek first arrives, it shows him from behind removing his cloak. Another shows Dek carrying Thia in a field and Thia says “Quick question. What should I be doing?” There’s also another new scene of Dek with Thia running through a stream.

Predator: Badlands hits cinemas on November 7th. Thanks to Preydator for the news.
