Internationals: Faye Kirby makes England U23s debut on Monday night

Liverpool FC Women goalkeeper Faye Kirby debuted for England U23s on Monday night.

The 21-year-old started the young Lionesses’ 1-1 draw with Portugal in a friendly staged in Northampton.

Her clubmate Hannah Silcock was introduced to the affair off the bench in the 20th minute, when she replaced the injured Naomi Layzell.

Mia Enderby was an unused substitute for the hosts.
