WANA (Oct 28) – Iranian-bred horses shone at the “Prix Hayan” horse racing event at Toulouse Racecourse. Three-year-old mare TS Visma, competing for the third time in a black-type event—one of the highest tiers in international horse racing—claimed victory despite starting from a disadvantage and ranking seventh until the final 200 meters, delivering a stunning finish to win the race.

Trained by Paris-born Iranian coach Thomas Domlet, TS Visma is owned by Danial Jabbari, a former deputy and director of Iran’s Horse Racing Training Committee. This is the first time a horse under Iranian ownership has won a black-type race in the Arabian breed.

TS Visma was not the only standout. Nersi Narian, another three-year-old bred by the Iranian company and recently sold as the most expensive horse at the Arqana auction, won the Narian category in the same black-type race, outperforming all competitors.
