Police arrested the man in Birmingham city centre today

A man has been arrested in Birmingham on suspicion of ‘causing serious violence against women’.
The suspect was arrested in the city centre earlier today, Tuesday, October 28,
West Midlands Police said the man was wanted by another force for breach of a court order.

He was also suspected of serious violence against women.
The man, whose age was not specified by the force, was taken into custody for questioning.

‘Birmingham City Centre Police’ wrote on its X page: “Today, officers arrested a man in Birmingham city centre who was wanted by another force on suspicion of causing serious violence against women and a breach of a court order.
“The man is now in custody thanks to the pro-active work carried out by Birmingham city centre Officers.”
