An Edinburgh tourist and YouTuber set himself the challenge of walking as much of Edinburgh as he could in just one day.
Kieran, who boasts a whopping 5.77K subscribers on the online video sharing platform, took his followers along with him as he took a one day walking tour of his favourite sights in the city.
Starting off at the iconic Edinburgh Castle, Kieran took in the good weather that he was lucky enough to experience before walking down the Royal Mile, stopping to admire Tollbooth Kirk and venture down a few of the closes on the mile.

He said: “The thing that I love about Edinburgh is that there’s loads of little side streets that you can explore. You can really take forever to go down the mile.”
On his journey, Kieran stopped in for a to sample a few different whiskies before nipping into Deacon’s House Cafe for a chat about its history and to try some of their popular goods- he recommended trying the carrot soup and the “best scones in Edinburgh”.

The next stops on his walking tour was St Giles Cathedral, Victoria Street where he had a gander at the small businesses on the infamous street, the market in Tron Kirk, the Scottish Government buildings, Dunbar’s Close Garden, Holyrood Palace, before scaling Calton Hill. Kieran’s final stop was Princes Street Gardens.
While the travel vlogger wanted to be able to take in so much more of the “magical” city Kieran, who had travelled up for the day from Lancaster, had to catch the last train home.
Despite this, he really enjoyed his time up north and was able to take in a wide range of landmarks and sites as he walked the Royal Mile. But he did recommend that anyone wishing to visit books off more than just one day!
He added: “Edinburgh’s been really amazing. I highly, highly recommend spending more than just a day here and I’m definitely going to be coming up on the train again for another trip too.”
