A free-to-visit Pokémon pop-up will be landing slap-bang in the centre of the city next weekend to mark the first anniversary of Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. The two-day Pokémon extravaganza will be taking place at Outernet London, and will feature a variety of interactive digital experiences for Londoners (and beyond) to get stuck in to.
Spanning several spaces within London’s legendary Outernet, the event is set to be bigger and better than the Pokémon pop-up that was held for the game’s initial launch last November. In the Now Building’s atrium, visitors will be able to partake in motion-controlled booster pack openings that will be projected onto Outernet’s giant digital screens.
In the Now Pop 1 room, Pokémon-enthusiasts will be able to party with Pikachu. The beloved character will be taking on the role of DJ for the occasion, spinning the perfect soundtrack. Costume characters will also be on hand for some memory-making photo opportunities.
Next door in the Now Pop 2 space, there will be a whole host of performances and playable game-demos taking place. And there will also be a lounge area for attendees to kick back, trade cards, and battle other players.
The event is completely free to visit, and there will be an abundance of activities on hand. So, whether you’re an Eevee-enthusiast or a Lucario-lover; there’s sure to be something to pique every Pokémon-fanatic’s interest.
The Pokémon pop-up event will be taking place at Outernet London on November 8 (10am-7pm) and November 9 (11.15am-7pm). Find out more and plan your visit here.
