Champagne bar and dining concept Cuvée is opening a second Glasgow venue at Princes Square in the city centre this week. The new bar follows the success of the brand’s West End site on Lynedoch Street, which opened earlier this year above The Drake Bar.
Offering what the team calls “refined yet relaxed luxury”, Cuvée Princes Square will serve an extensive list of champagnes, crémants, wines and cocktails, paired with a seasonal small plates menu. The food is designed to complement the bar’s premium drinks offering, with a focus on sharing dishes made in-house.
The bar takes over the unit formerly occupied by Zibibbo, which opened in November 2024 and closed earlier this year. The unit sits on the ground floor of Princes Square and offers seating for 100 guests inside, 40 in the courtyard and 30 on the terrace. It will also be a sister venue to The Delphine, the all-day bistro, cafè and bar that opened in August, also in Princes Square.
Courtney Flynn, Head of Sales, PR & Communications at The Superlative Collection, the hospitality group behind Cuvée, said,“Opening in May 2025, Cuvée quickly became a favourite venue – champagne and fried chicken are two of my favourites, and we do them very well! It’s a testament to the incredible opening team in the West End and the buzz around our brand that we’re opening a second venue so soon. It’s been a joy to work on, and we’re so excited to welcome everyone in the lead-up to Christmas, surrounded by the stunning Princes Square tree in the courtyard.”
Cuvée joins a growing portfolio under The Superlative Collection, which also includes The Noble, Glaschu, Maison by Glaschu, Gōst, The Duke’s Umbrella, The Clubhouse, and Blue Dog.
