Fans of Celebrity Traitors are convinced the show let slip the identities of the show’s finalists before it was confirmed.
The final line-up has now been revealed, with Thursday’s penultimate episode (October 30) confirming that Alan Carr, Cat Burns, Joe Marler, Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga have made it to the last stage.
But viewers noticed that the BBC programme – which is hosted by Claudia Winkleman – accidentally revealed this information earlier in the episode.
The instalment saw the Traitors ‘murder’ Celia Imrie in broad daylight before the remaining group voted out Kate Garraway, leaving just five participants in the competition. Between these departures, the final five – alongside Kate – participated in their latest task, where they were required to navigate through lasers to boost the prize fund.
And one sharp-eyed viewer identified that the final five was inadvertently revealed in a single frame during the middle of the episode, reports the Mirror.

“Spoiler in the middle of episode 8,” they posted on Reddit, accompanied by an image showing Nick, Alan, Cat, Joe and David stepping out of vehicles whilst back at the castle.
Shortly beforehand, six contestants had been shown returning in the signature black Celebrity Traitors vehicles – each sporting their individual casual wear.
Yet when the cars arrive outside the residence, only the final five exit the vehicles, all dressed in matching long-sleeved green tops and black gilets.

It’s probable that this footage was captured from next week’s concluding episode – featuring the remaining five competitors participating in one final challenge, which would account for the coordinated clothing and why only five individuals are visible.
As she left the castle, Kate shared how transformative the experience had been for her.
The star, who lost her husband Derek Draper last year after he suffered numerous complications following his Covid battle, said: “I’ve had a lot of years of being serious and very sad and you have all allowed me to play the most amazing game.

“But also you have allowed me to play and be silly and have fun. Every single one of you, I am going to take away an idea and a new kind of life.”
She then added: “I have and always have been totally myself. A Faithful.”
Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One.
