Trident Gym will open in Northfield after a number of ‘setbacks’
A Birmingham gym announced its opening date after several setbacks, including a number of break-ins.
With locations including Bridgwater and Plymouth, Trident was scheduled to open their first Birmingham gym in September.
However, Trident has been hit with a number of issues which included break-ins and an ‘asbestos issue’.

Located on the Bristol Road in Northfield, Trident is set to move into the building previously occupied by Everlast Gym.
Despite challenges, Northfield will be getting a new gym with cryotherapy chambers, saunas and a supplement shop.

On social media, Trident posted: “The wait is almost over.
“Trident Birmingham officially opens its doors on Saturday 22nd November.
“It’s not the date we originally wanted but after everything we’ve faced.
“From our equipment being held up in Germany to an asbestos issue on-site, and even a couple of break-ins during the build, we’re proud to finally have an opening day set in stone.
“We’ve worked through every setback to make sure the gym meets the Trident standard in every way.
“Expect top-of-the-line kit, 24-hour access, classes and the same unmatched energy and atmosphere our members love.
“Thank you to everyone who’s supported us along the way.
“The countdown is on. See you soon, Birmingham.”
