A commuter travelling from Fife to Edinburgh Waverley complained of being trapped in an overcrowded Scotrail service.
The punter was making their way into the capital to take in Scotland vs USA at Murrayfield Stadium on Saturday November 1.
They boarded the 12.56pm Dalgety Bay to Waverley service and complained of the ‘packed out’ rail carriages which were claimed to be ‘boiling hot.’
The rail operator had previously warned customers to expect delays and disruption in the late morning and early afternoon of Saturday due to signalling issues between Perth and Ladybank – a problem that is understood to have been resolved.
Thousands were expected to travel to Edinburgh and the Lothians over the weekend with Terminal V taking place alongside Hearts vs Dundee at Tynecastle, Hibernian FC travelling to Livingston and Scotland hosting USA at Murrayfield.

The customer said: “With the rugby, football and Terminal V on there sure will be some party animals in Edinburgh today.
“Scotrail has disappointed the punters once again with packed out, boiling hot trains and some not even running.”
