Police are currently investigating disturbing video footage showing brutal violence that erupted in a major UK city over Halloween night (October 31)
The shocking clip, which has been shared widely across social media platforms, captures a vicious brawl involving multiple individuals yesterday evening in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson confirmed that authorities are aware of the incident and are “reviewing the footage.” The distressing video shows chaos breaking out in the city centre location, with people launching into violent kicks and punches while surrounded by a crowd of spectators, many capturing the scene on their mobile devices.
The recording begins mid-altercation, appearing to show two individuals repeatedly attacking another person, reports the Manchester Evening News.

One participant, dressed only in shorts, continues the confrontation with their target.
During the clip, a hooded individual joins the fray, striking both the semi-clothed person and their companion, before the pair become embroiled in a separate altercation.
Towards the footage’s conclusion, the topless individual is visible with blood pouring from a facial injury while others appear continue their fight.
Someone can be observed attacking them using a crutch as a weapon.
“This is going off,” the person recording the incident can be heard commenting, while a man sporting a Christmas hat watches the violence unfold.
As the two participants attempt to leave Piccadilly Gardens, they are pursued by others.
The footage then concludes abruptly. A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson stated: “We are aware of video footage circulating, which is currently being reviewed.”

Elsewhere, Birmingham descended into a Halloween “warzone” after thugs shot fireworks at police officers, bus passengers and pedestrians in an “appalling” act of “disorder.”
Police have confirmed that nine people were arrested after consecutive incidents that shook the busy city late last night (October 31).
The second-largest city in the UK was rocked by the yobs starting from around 9pm, which saw dozens of fireworks lit and fired off one after the other.
In footage of the shocking incident, a double decker bus full of passengers can be seen as a sitting duck as multiple hooded figures aimed the rockets at the vehicle.
Another clip captures the moment that a group dressed in black with their faces obscured by masks and hoods fired rockets at people walking on the other side of the road. The chilling video shows that those aiming the fireworks were filming on their phones while targeting pedestrians.
West Midlands Police said “pockets of disorder” were reported to authorities from 9pm on Friday (October 31) close to New Street, which is near Birmingham’s main train station.
