Anthony Patterson: 7/10
Needed to be at it early on with the home side putting us under pressure but coped well, made a few saves you would expect him to save but was solid throughout.
Trai Hume: 7/10
Started at right back and did well against Sainz, then switched to left back with 30 minutes left and did well there too.
Chris Mepham: 8/10
Another excellent performance by Mepham, always in the right place at the right time when Norwich had a half a chance.
Luke O’Nien: 7/10
Gave away a couple of soft free kicks that we could have been punished for but was good alongside Mepham.
Leo Hjelde: 6/10
Thought he defended well down the left but struggled on the ball, with one horrendous cross that skewed miles out of play.
Dan Neil (C): 6/10
Sloppy on the ball in the first half but improved after the break, had a chance to shoot on the edge of the box during the second half that he probably should have taken and then got a soft short on target not long afterwards.
Alan Browne: 6/10
Solid at right back for the last half hour and put in a shift in midfield during the first half but pretty poor on the ball.
Chris Rigg: 6/10
Some good work off the ball from a deeper position than he usually plays but struggled to make an impact on the ball.
Tommy Watson: 6/10
Was anonymous for long periods but came to life for the 10 minutes or so before his substitution, with some dangerous runs and a good cross that Mayenda should have buried.
Milan Aleksic: 5/10
Also anonymous for most of his time on the pitch and was careless in possession. Did force the goalkeeper into action just before he went off but looks ill-suited to the right wing.
Eliezer Mayenda: 7/10
Our most dangerous player, really should have scored at least one goal but at least he was getting into positions to miss them. Sliced one effort, took a heavy touch after we won the ball in the Norwich half and then forced the goalkeeper into action in the second half.
Substitutes
Enzo Le Fee: 7/10
Was very good in a more central role when he came on, looked sharp and incisive.
Patrick Roberts: 6/10
Didn’t really get into the game following his arrival.
Wilson Isidor: 6/10
Put in a dangerous cross late on after being played in by Le Fee but otherwise struggled to make an impact.
Harrison Jones: 6/10
Tidy after coming on, played a neat ball around the corner for Mepham to put a cross in and then showed some experience by pulling back Sainz and preventing a potential attack.
Man of the Match: Chris Mepham
We were up against it for the first 20-30 minutes and Mepham was excellent, winning plenty in the air and being at the right place to block shots and that carried into the second half when we were on top, with Mepham still being important with his reading of the game at the back. Even tested the goalkeeper with a quick cross from Jones’ pass.
