A busy Edinburgh road was closed by police on Saturday night following a crash involving a car and a Lothian bus.
The incident happened around 9pm on Greendykes Road. The road was blocked by police with local diversions put in place.
Lothian Buses were unable to serve the area as emergency services attended. It’s not yet known if there have been any injuries.

In an image shared with Edinburgh Live, it appears a black vehicle collided with the bus as rubble lies on the road.
Bus routes 14, 18, 21, 46 and 48 were forced to bring in diversions.

Lothian Buses said: “Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve Greendykes Road and part of Niddrie Mains Road and are instead diverted via Milligan Drive and The Wisp in both directions until further notice.”
