A man hit by a car has tragically died from his injuries more than two weeks on from the collision.
The pedestrian, aged in his 50s, was struck by a vehicle on Moorside Road in Swinton, Salford, on Sunday, October 19.
Emergency services attended the scene at 7.15pm that evening, with paramedics rushing the man to hospital.
He remained in a critical condition following the crash, but sadly died yesterday (November 4).

An investigation into the circumstances of the collision remains ongoing.
Greater Manchester Police is renewing its appeal for further information, or any relevant video footage that could help with officers’ enquiries.
A GMP spokesperson said: “At around 7.15pm on Sunday, October 19 2025, we were called to reports of a serious road traffic collision between a car and a pedestrian on Moorside Road, Swinton.
“Emergency services attended and a man in his 50s was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. He has sadly since passed away.
“Anyone with information, any CCTV or dash cam footage is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 2573 of October 19, 2025.”
