Robber behind ‘terrifying’ phone muggings on London’s Tube trains and buses locked up for more than ten years

• Teddy Kelt carried out a two-week series of violent knifepoint robberies across London’s transport network, targeting mainly teenage boys and threatening them with knives, machetes, and acid to steal phones, tablets, and laptops

• Kelt, from Romford, sentenced to ten and a half years in prison with an additional four years on licence

• Judge tells him: ‘You repeatedly put the fear of death into the victims to steal their phones, causing long-term damage to the victims’
