A contractor awarded the work was unable to begin on time

The contracts were initially tendered for work in all five health trusts
Northern Ireland’s largest health trust was left without planned maintenance services on its life support system for three months after a contractor appointed to take on the work was unable to fulfil its full role on time.
CA Services was initially awarded the contracts to perform maintenance on the medical gas pipeline systems for all five trusts, but handed back three of them – Western, Southern and Northern.
