Alan Carr’s super-friendly and unassuming ‘I don’t know what I’m really doing here’ manner has allowed to make it all the way to the final of The Celebrity Traitors, but will it work as well for him on the upcoming second season of Last One Laughing? Probably not, according to Bob Mortimer.
The Prime Video show, which puts a load of comedians in a house together and challenges them to keep a straight for the longest time – while also challenging them to try and break their peers – is coming back for a second season soon.
It’s got a stacked cast, including returning season 1 champ Mortimer, Carr, Sam Campbell, David Mitchell, Philomena Cunk herself Diane Morgan, and Mel Giedroyc, to name a few.

“It’s very difficult not to laugh. Can you imagine the problem Alan had trying not to laugh?” Bob said with a smile. “He’s a giggler.”
While not confirmed, it looks like if you get lumped with Alan in your Last One Laughing sweepstakes, you’re probably not winning that one.
Bob also teased that there may be a very similar moment to the way he eliminated Daisy May Cooper in season 1.

“In the new series, I think I do get rid of someone via the gift of song. I think so, yeah,” he said, while adding that he “maybe” makes someone laugh with a bit of magic, too.
Season 1 was a huge success when it released earlier this year, something that Mortimer admitted took the entire cast by surprise.
He said they “absolutely [did] not” expect to the show to be a hit, stating: “That’s probably the reason a lot of us did it. We thought, ‘Well, no-one’s gonna watch it'”
Last One Laughing UK season 2 does not currently have a release date on Prime Video.
