The search for a missing teenager in Greater Manchester has hit a grim new milestone.

Leigha, from Oldham, was last seen in Shaw two weeks ago, at around 4pm on October 24.

She remains missing this morning (November 7), Greater Manchester Police said.

The force says officers have made extensive enquiries to trace Leigha, whose surname has not been given.

Leigha is described as being white, around 5ft 6ins tall and of slim build.

She has short, black hair and piercings on both her nose and lip.

As well as Oldham, Leigha has links to Openshaw and Wythenshawe, in Manchester, plus the Stockport and Tameside areas.

GMP shared an image of Leigha in previous appeals to try and find her.

A force spokesperson previously said: “Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about her and want to make sure she is safe and well.”

Leigha was last seen wearing a pink top, black jacket and a rainbow-coloured short skirt.

Anyone with information on Leigha’s whereabouts is urged to contact police on 101, quoting log number 3068-171025.
