Carol Knowles, 62, was seriously injured following the collision on October 29 on Wolverhampton Road.

She was taken to hospital where she later passed away.

Carol’s family have released this tribute: “We are heartbroken to share that our beloved Carol Knowles died following a road traffic collision on October 29, 2025 in Oldbury.

“Our lives have been changed forever.

“Carol was the brightest part of our world. She was known for her warm smile, her positive spirit, and her ability to bring happiness wherever she went.

“A loving wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother and a dedicated Court Usher.

“A loyal friend to many, Carol carried herself with kindness, dignity, and grace. She was the heart of our family, and her loss is immeasurable.

“We ask for privacy as we support one another through this devastating time. We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support we have received.

“We extend our sincere thanks to the emergency services and everyone who assisted at the scene and has supported us since.

A 31-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving has been released on bail while our investigations continue.
