The Reds have won each of their last five WSL games against Brighton and could set a new club record for longest winning streak against an opponent in the competition.
Brighton won on their first trip to face Liverpool in the WSL in January 2019, but are one of two sides to lose on each of their visits to face the Reds in the competition since they were promoted back in 2022 (lost three, also West Ham United).
Liverpool have lost all six of their WSL games this season having never previously gone more than three games without winning a point from the start of a campaign. The Reds have conceded their most goals (12) at this stage of a top-flight season since 2016 (13) and scored their fewest (three) since 2022-23 (also three).
Brighton have lost each of their last three games in the WSL and are seeking to avoid suffering four successive defeats in the competition for the first time since January 2022.
Liverpool have lost each of the three league games they have led in this season, going 1-0 up in defeats by Everton, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. In WSL history, only three teams have suffered more defeats after scoring first in a single season: Aston Villa in 2023-24 (five), Doncaster Rovers Belles in 2016 (four) and Everton in 2018-19 (four).
Brighton have lost 12 of their last 15 WSL away games (won three), including 11 of 14 under manager Dario Vidosic. Only West Ham (12) have suffered more defeats on the road in the top flight since the start of last season.
