Manchester United have conceded two goals once again against Tottenham, however, Senne Lammens cannot be blamed. Instead his likenesses to Peter Schmeichel have continued.
While Manchester United would have wanted a win, to salvage a point while trailing 2-1 is ultimately a success for the Red Devils.
United threw away a comfortable 1-0 in the final 10 minutes, before Tottenham then claimed the lead in stoppage time. At this point it appeared United were headed to a defeat, this before Matthijs de Ligt stepped up to score an equaliser.

In the end, United claimed a 2-2 draw against Spurs, retaining the unbeaten streak, which is now at five. While De Ligt was scoring the goal, there was another interesting thing happening with Senne Lammens.

Lammens was good against Tottenham despite conceding twice, as two big saves likely avoided the hosts being run away winners.
However, for the equalising goal by De Ligt, Lammens found himself in the penalty area for the corner – in the style of Peter Schmeichel.
This is after United fans compared Lammens with Schmeichel following his impressive debut against Sunderland in October.
Lammens is no stranger to being in the attacking box. Lammens scored for Club Brugge against Real Madrid in his youth football days.
Manchester United conceding way too many goals but Senne Lammens not at fault
At the start of this season, United were only conceding through goalkeeping errors. Yet now, despite Lammens being solid, there are more big chances being conceded.
Ruben Amorim is excited about Senne Lammens
He can kick long balls with a lot of quality with both feet, and that is a detail that can change the way we play the game.
Amorim has been full of praise for Lammens this season, but the Belgian will be growing frustrated with his defence as it crumbles in games way too often.
United concede flurries of goals at a time, when one goes in there will often be another just around the corner.
This needs to be worked on in training, with the defence needing to be so much better, more composed under pressure and avoid self destructing at the first hurdle.
Lammens made two big saves which should have been game winners, only for two poor goals to be conceded. United need to be better.
