A man has been found dead in a block of flats in Glasgow’s west end. Homes were evacuated by cops last night, November 7, following the grim discovery.

Emergency services raced to the plush Jordanhill area of Glasgow at around 6pm on Friday, following reports of a death at a property on Randolph Gate.

Cops, fire engines, and ambulance crews were on the scene as a 38-year-old man was found dead within one of the flats.

As a precaution, police said the building was evacuated for a “short time” with residents reporting they were kept out for around three hours.

Police have since confirmed that there was no risk to the wider public and residents were allowed back into their homes the same evening.
