Police would like to identify this man after an ‘inappropriate’ incident on a bus travelling from West Bromwich to Birmingham city centre.

Officers want to speak to the man pictured in connection with an allegation of ‘outraging public decency’ on the number 74 bus service.

The incident happened at around 8.20am on Thursday, September 18.

An outraging public decency offence is described as when someone does something ‘lewd, obscene or disgusting’ in the presence of members of the public.

Police today issued a CCTV image of the man officers would like to identify in connection with the incident.

He was pictured wearing a stripy polo shirt and a jacket.

The man appeared to be holding a phone in his hand.

Appealing for information, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “Recognise this man?

“We want to speak to him in connection with an allegation of outraging public decency on a bus.

“It happened on 18 September on the number 74 bus travelling from West Bromwich to Birmingham city centre at around 8.20am.

“If you recognise him or have any information, get in touch via Live Chat or by calling 101 and quoting crime reference number 20/380707/25.”
