She then paid tribute to Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana, wearing her Collingwood pearl earrings for the occasion (which were a gift to to the former Princess of Wales from Collingwood jewelry house).
Diana wore the earrings on multiple occasions, but here’s a stand out moments from a fancy dinner in Washington D.C.

Meanwhile, Kate also wore a RAF brooch, which is speculated to have been a tribute to her grandfather Peter Middleton, who served in World War II as a military pilot.

Kate’s outing comes amid royal expert Ian Pelham Turner telling Fox News Digital that she’s a “power behind the throne” and is “saving and securing the future of the royal family and her own determined destiny to become queen.”
He also spoke about Kate’s influence in Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s recent title stripping and eviction, saying “A smiling face to the camera, a steely resolve in private, she desires to protect the destinies of her husband Prince William and their eldest son Prince George, while doing her part in saving the royal brand. She is determined to create the right image constantly. I believe there was not much love lost between her and Andrew, who allegedly spoke shamelessly about her to William, creating an angry confrontation between uncle and nephew to a point where Andrew’s fate was sealed.”
