William H. Macy enjoyed a rare night out with his daughter.
On Sunday, Nov. 9, the Shameless actor, 75, attended the red carpet premiere of his movie The Running Man in New York with his daughter Georgia Grace, 23. The father of two shares Georgia and his older daughter, Sophia Grace, 25, with his wife, actress Felicity Huffman.
Macy appeared to be in great spirits at the event. He held his youngest child’s hand while they posed together on the red carpet.
The actor wore a black suit with a white shirt; Georgia complemented his classic look in a black dress, which she accessorized with a pearl necklace.
“So I have two daughters, Sophia and Georgia, and I’m so proud of these women,” Macy tells PEOPLE on the red carpet at the premiere. “They’re such fine women. I don’t know how that happened, I credit Felicity, their mom.”

The Soul on Fire star plays the role of Molie Jernigan in The Running Man, appearing alongside the likes of Glen Powell, Lee Pace and Josh Brolin.
Macy’s premiere date with Georgia comes after he and Sophia attended the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival for the premiere of his Netflix film Train Dreams in September.
Back in 2017, Macy told PEOPLE that his kids were “really cool young women and really fun to be around and smart as whips.”

“They’re above average,” he added.
Following in her parents’ footsteps, Sophia made her acting debut in season 2 of Jordan Peele’s CBS show The Twilight Zone in 2020.
However, Georgia, who has an interest in politics and academics, attended Vassar College in New York.
“She’s interested in politics, political science and pursuing that,” Macy told Parade magazine in January 2019. “She’s in a very academic school and killing it.”
Speaking to PEOPLE at The Running Man premiere on Sunday, Macy also revealed the secret to his 28-year marriage to Huffman: “I tell you I’ve never had to work at it,” he says. “I’m crazy for her. She’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and she’s so alive, so evolving, she’s always striving. She keeps me on my toes.”
The Running Man premieres in theaters on Friday, Nov. 14.
