A girl has been charged after a man was rushed to hospital following a massive emergency response in Edinburgh.
Emergency crews rushed to Colinton Mains Drive with multiple units deployed at around 6.40pm on November 9.
A 20-year-old man was raced to hospital for treatment and a 17-year-old girl has been arrested and charged in connection.
She was due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
It’s understood emergency services were at the scene for some time but the road was not closed. Pictures taken at the time show blue lights in the distance with some traffic brought to a halt.
Officers were also spotted with police dogs and torches.
One passer-by, who was visiting a relative, claims she was told to go back inside and “move away” from the area.
Speaking to Edinbrugh Live on Sunday, she said: “Police at Colinton Mains Drive about two hours ago. Don’t know what’s happened.
“I don’t think the road got closed. I was told to go back inside. They were out with police dogs and torches too.”
